The plateaus of Tibet and Mongolia are inaccessible and expensive, Morine plateau is the opposite. Close and connected to the cities of Trebinje and Nevesinje, Morine is a truly breathtaking location, very un-European looking. Rolling hills with low brush, peppered with medieval tombstones and herds of wild horses, are camera-ready, whether covered by snow or scorched by the sun. Despite looking like remote wilderness, you’ll be able to reach Morine quite easily with any vehicle a bit more robust.
