Our nature is varied and it does have a lot to offer, but one thing we don’t have is a desert. That’s just how it is. No deserts in the Balkans. However, there are a few spots that can play the part in a shot. One of them is the Sand Pyramids near Foča. This location is unique, even for us. Unusual sand and rock formations towering over the burnt ground and low brush make the whole scene look like a desert landscape out of Texas, Arizona, or Nevada. Granted, on a much smaller scale, but on a much smaller budget too, and much more accessible.
